“Will -- your piece was great. You got spectacular actualities, and I learned a lot, which is more than I can say for many pieces! You have an elegant writing style as well, and good voicing. You should feel really good about this day.”
NPR's Religion Correspondent, Barbara Bradley Hagerty
“But you know, I always said that no one else on my block was on the radio, and it was fun.”

Since leaving NPR, I have reported and produced feature stories for KFAI, so I can build upon what I learned in Washington. These were a part of a semester of directed study.
I have filed several feature stories:
- I reported on the official dedication of Saint Paul Public Schools' alternative learning center, Gordon Parks High School, on March 6, 2008.
- Dr. Bambi Haggins, from the University of Michigan, examined the comic discourse of racial representation, on February 7, 2008, by dissecting a comedy sketch by comedian Dave Chapelle.
- A conversation with Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph about her one-woman show, "Sometimes I Cry." Her performance coincided with National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on February 7, 2008.
- I spoke to a man who tried to save a life when the Interstate 35W bridge collapsed, but the price and the flames were too high. This aired on February 1, 2008.
